What are your resolutions for 2018?
If you – or a loved one – are coping with cancer, perhaps you have resolved to reach out for support. We encourage you to give us a call, at our main office (514 340-8255) or our Wellness Centre (514 340-3616), and take advantage of the many free programs and services designed to help improve your quality of life.
If you have some free time on your hands and want to experience the rewards of giving back, maybe this will be the year you decide to volunteer. Just a few hours of your time can make a huge difference in the lives of our patients and their families. We’ll be happy to discuss which positions are open at any given time and to see if these match your skills, interests and abilities.
If your New Year’s resolution is to get fit, enjoy the great outdoors and have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of your community, we invite you to participate in our exciting new fundraiser: Tell Cancer to Take a Hike! which will debut this March. For the adventurous among you who’ve always dreamt of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest peak in Africa – we are offering you the chance to tick this one off your bucket list while raising funds for Hope & Cope. If you prefer hiking much closer to home, then consider Kili chez nous, which offers a series of 10 monthly hikes in Quebec’s beautiful mountain regions. For more details, visit Tell Cancer to Take a Hike or our Facebook page Kili chez nous
Whatever your goals, whether ambitious or much more modest, please remember to be kind to yourselves.
With best wishes for a happy, healthy and peaceful 2018,
Your friends at Hope & Cope
