MAB Hero Get Involved

Founded as a grassroots organization, Hope & Cope has always been a proud part of the Montreal community. From the day we first opened our doors in 1981, we made a commitment to providing emotional, spiritual and practical support services free of charge to those struggling with cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The opening of the JGH Hope & Cope Wellness Centre in 2007 was yet another step in our evolution as an organization that responds to the ever changing needs of cancer survivors and their loved ones.

There are many ways you can help. You can make a donation, you can become a volunteer, you can organize a fundraiser on our behalf, you can spread the word about our services and programs – the list is limited only by your imagination!

Congratulations to Dr. Bernard Lapointe, winner of the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Society of Palliative Care Physicians. The award is "in recognition of his sustained and lasting contribution to palliative medicine and to the CSPCP."

Félicitations au Dr Bernard Lapointe, chef du Service des soins palliatifs, pour ce prix bien mérité!
